Brusha Brusha Brusha
Up until today, every morning when I would brush my teeth, Kate would point to her mouth, say "teeth?" and signal me to prepare her toothbrush too. Well I guess she got tired of waiting for me. This morning she threw her matching Dora bath mat into the hallway and pulled her step stool/potty up to her bathroom sink. The bath mat, placed in front to the sink for spills, was in the way and it was easier for Kate to toss it into the hallway then try to drag the potty on top.
Anyway, I was wondering why I didn't get my usual morning "teeth?" from her. So I looked across the hall from my bathroom and saw her standing there, waiting with toothbrush in hand, on her stool at the sink. She still needed help with the toothpaste and turning on the water. She just looked so cute and so big and independent that I had to take a few pictures.
As you can tell we really try to encourage regular teeth brushing. In that last picture you can count at least 4 toothbrushes and 2 toothpastes on Kate's bathroom sink. That's not even counting the ones you can't see and the ones I have stashed away as replacements. Kate does a lot more chewing on the brush than brushing with the brush. She is getting much better at it though, and I'm very proud of the initiative she's been taking to brush several times of days with many different brushes.

I can't believe how much bigger she looks. She's getting so mature!
I love the Dora bathroom, Miss Jillian would be sooooo envious :)
