My mother passed away of breast cancer on 11/09/2001. The saddest part is that she never had a chance to meet our son. I think Kate was TRULY meant to come at the time she did. She kept her happy in her time of sadness! I think that Grandma Maier will be Kate's Guardian Angel forever. They say when ever there is a death there is always a birth.....so who knows #2 might be right around the corner! (You don't know me, I live in NJ, but I have been following your blog for quite some time) I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers!
